Contact support

A public support email and response commitment are required before this page can be used as the App Store Support URL.

When contacting support, include:

• What you were trying to do.
• The screen where the problem occurred.
• Your iPhone or iPad model and iOS version.
• Your Sprout version and build number from Settings.
• A screenshot, if it does not contain information you prefer not to share.

Do not email full payment-card details, receipt photos, allergy details, or other sensitive information.

Subscriptions and billing

Sprout Plus subscriptions are billed by Apple.

• To manage or cancel, open iOS Settings, select your name, select Subscriptions, and choose Sprout.
• To restore a purchase, open Sprout Settings, find Sprout Plus, and select Restore purchases.
• If Apple charged you but access is still locked, restore purchases first. If the issue remains, contact support with the approximate purchase date and Apple Account country. Do not send payment credentials.

Camera and receipt features

Camera access is optional. Change the permission in iOS Settings under Sprout. Receipt recognition happens on your device. Receipt and fridge images are not uploaded by Sprout or saved to your photo library.

Barcode results come from Open Food Facts, and public price observations come from Open Prices. Coverage varies by product, store, and location. Manual entry remains available when a public result is unavailable.

Food and allergy safety

Sprout is a planning tool, not medical advice. Recipe filtering is based on listed ingredients and cannot verify manufacturing labels, substitutions, restaurant preparation, or cross-contamination. Always check packaging and preparation details, especially for severe allergies.
